Your Instructor

Gina Perry is a 1994 graduate of Columbus College of Art and Design, majoring in Fine Arts and Illustration. During her early career she has gained tremendous experience working as a Creative Services Manager for a 16 publication newspaper company, Suburban Newspapers of Dayton, working in a fast paced, tight deadline environment. Gina managed 12 designers and 2 shifts. After a few years she moved on to take on the role as Graphics Engineer at Redemtech, Inc. in Hilliard, working as their sole print and web graphics designer. In 2003, Perry took a huge leap of faith and decided to become a full time freelance graphic designer. During this time she was asked to part time teach at Columbus College of Art and Design. Her classes consisted of electronic publishing, prepress and advertising design. To her amazement she discovered she really liked teaching and loved inspiring the young and old. Watching each student learn, improve and become empowered by the realization that they could create was unbelievably rewarding. Gina now reinvents herself once again by developing her own creative learning business, Creative Clinic Center. Dedicating most of her time to her extremely popular Paint Mixer events, she is amazed at how much fun she is having as well as her students and it doesn't even feel like work! The events are actually making a difference in people's lives in terms of uplifting and inspiring others to relax, do something inspirational, laugh and just feel good. We grossly under estimate the importance of their benefits. As her business grows she will be recruiting high quality instructors who are in line with her philosophy.

"Your first responsibility is to make yourself happy!"
